The DocksLocks Rod & Reel Lock is a patent pending locking device designed to protect fishing poles and reels from theft.
- PATENT PENDING ANTI-THEFT SECURITY. The Rod & Reel Lock is the only lock that can secure both the fishing rod and reel at the same time. Don’t make it easy for thieves to steal your gear while you are away.
- STRONG AND SECURE. The clamp-like design secures tightly to the rod. Secure your rod and reel to any stationary object: in a truck bed, a fishing pier, dock piling, roof rack, rod holders, park bench and more.
- VERSATILE AND MULTIPURPOSE. Lock multiple poles together with one security cable (requires one Rod & Reel Lock per pole). Lock is compatible with a wide range of rods, poles and other similar shaped items.
- EASY TO USE. Simply turn the lever to size the clamp to the rod, then close the clamp and lever and run a compatible DocksLocks security cable through the retaining ring and around a stationary object (security cable sold separately). Note: to secure the reel, make sure the lock is attached to the threaded portion of the reel seat to prevent loosening of the reel hood.
- LOW PROFILE DESIGN. The Rod & Reel Lock is compact and lightweight. There is no need to remove the lock when fishing. The lock has a slim profile and a high strength to weight ratio. You will barely notice the lock on your rod.
- WEATHERPROOF MATERIALS. Lock not only wards off thieves, but also provides superior protection against the elements. Rod & Reel Lock is constructed of anodized aluminum. The security cable is constructed from galvanized steel and encased in a thick vinyl coating.
How to choose a lock size
- Wrap a string or masking tape around your rod – we recommend measuring the threaded portion of the reel seat.
- Use a pen or pencil to mark where the string overlaps.
- Measure the length from the end of the string to the mark - use millimeters for more accurate sizing.

- DOMESTIC/INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES AND ESTIMATES: For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
- INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Best Key Solution is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
RETURN AND REFUND
- We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

- If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges: The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period: Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
